Please help us in welcoming Miss Tin Man Jack to the mare band here at Painted Prairie Farm. Obtained in March, 2008 from Don and Nancy Goodwin of Kingman, KS, "Jackie" was expecting a 2008 foal by Redde Hollywood, a triple bred Sonny Dee Bar bred stallion. We have begun the arduous task of helping Jackie regain her health and weight, and are already beginning to see a bit more life in her eyes and spring in her step. Once recovered, Jackie will be offered for sale to the right home ONLY, if we are able to part with her after working so hard to help her regain her health. Keep checking back as we bring you updated photos of her progress.

When these photos were shot we'd had Jackie for two weeks...
Photo taken the night we picked her up...
We didn't get Jackie just to rehabilitate her...there is a lot I like about her. She's really got a pretty nice head, and a long elegant neck. Despite her weight here she has a awesome front end. When she's in weight, her hind end is really nice, and quite square and correct. But what I mostly like about her is the way she MOVES... she just graces the ground as she floats along. I can't wait to see her in a month...in a year... Please email for information on buying Jackie.

We call him Jack Jack... he is Jackie's 2008 colt by Redde Hollywood ....gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
Jackie... these photos shot October 12, 2008
She's become a loveable mare, easy to catch and now has a handle on her. She moves like a ballet dancer, elegant, graceful, with a air of regalness. God willing her days of starvation are over...
