| As any good breeder will tell you; a breeder is only as good as the mares in his broodmare band. Regardless of how good the stallion, a great baby cannot be produced by crossing a great stallion on a mediocre mare. We try to obtain and retain the very best mares we can find, choosing mares with outstanding conformation, disposition, and with pedigrees containing outstanding individuals who have made a name for themselves both in the show ring and in the breeding shed. Some of the mares below have prices next to their names. This is no way should lead you to believe these mares are unworthy, but in our constant search to keep the most current bloodlines and best crosses to our stallions, and to keep our numbers manageable, we do feel the need to keep some mares on the sales list. |
