| This is one special boy...and we would really like to find him a perfect home. If we showed Quarter Horse, we might just keep him. Bright chestnut in color, with a huge eye, and a super sweet lovable personality. "Ace" has been a breeding stallion his entire life, but running in pasture with the mares. As a result, he's super quiet and very easy to handle around other horses. He's more "gelding-like" right now as a stud than most of my geldings. He IS scheduled to be gelded in the next few weeks. In the meantime, we are keeping him at Painted Prairie just putting some pounds on him and riding him as much as we can. With his attitude, this horse could easily turn into a husband safe trail horse... |
...and with his pedigree could turn into an outstanding
amateur show prospect, possibly halter AND under saddle.
He has a naturally low head carriage, and is hard to get
excited. Still needing a bit of weight here... but has not
been a hard keeper for us, and we aren't pushing him hard.
